Palliative care is a specialized approach to medical care that focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals facing serious illnesses. The primary goal of palliative care is to provide comprehensive support to patients and their families, addressing not only the physical symptoms but also the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs that arise during the course of the illness.
