As a pediatric neurologist/neurooncologist, Dr. Khakoo has a special interest and expertise in the treatment of children and young adults with brain tumors as well as in prevention and treatment of neurologic conditions in young patients receiving treatment for other cancers. She also cares for children who have neurocutaneous melanocytosis, which is sometimes seen in patients with large congenital melanocytic nevi.
