In general, the field of congenital melanocytic nevi is an area of great interest and constant study for Dr. Price, especially large/giant CMN. Particular topics of focus include risk factors of melanoma and neurocutaneous melanosis and the corresponding molecular genetics, itch in CMN, and the congenital patterns of CMN and “satellite” nevi.
